Food

I love food. Meaning, I really like to eat, not that I have some need to substitute food for attention or what not ... no need to call Dr. Phil yet. Wait 'till I'm a teenager with an infected piercing a bad attitude and an unhealthy penchant for Asian anime before you call that quack.

Nope, I just like to eat. Tastes good don't you know. And aside from a few vegetables, canned green beans and frozen peas come to mind, I have not found much on the menu I don't like. I have tried and thoroughly enjoy sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, french fries (yes I'm counting them as a vegetable for these purposes), the tomatoes out of a jar of salsa, kidney beans, mashed corn, and just the other night, zucchini. Not bad.

If you are faithful Fox Albert readers, you are already familiar with my affection for the sweet confections, particularly pumpkin pie ... mmmmmm. But I do enjoy other fair as well. I've had a bit of chili, good stuff that chili. I love all noodles, the cheesier the better if you ask me. Raisins, very nice. Mandarin oranges, mmmmm. Blue berry waffles are to die for. Big fan of yogurt. Oatmeal is more than tolerable, especially when a bit of banana is sliced in for good measure. Peanut better and jelly, while particularly messy, is indeed very tasty. I must admit, I am a bit of a slob when it comes to my table manners. Can't seem to hit my mouth every time. Occasionally I'll get a bit of this or that in my ear, or up my nose, or on the floor, or (and I especially like to see the expression on dad's face when I accomplish this) smash a bit of blue berry into my hair. Yeah, that was a fun time.

I like lasagna (cheese), Macaroni and (cheese), cottage (cheese), grilled (cheese), (cheese) pizza (what little I've been able to try), cheddar (cheese), Monterey Jack (cheese) ... there's a theme here folks. I love the coagulated, compressed, and usually ripened curd of milk separated from the whey. Cheese, manna from heaven if you ask these taste buds.

If I can get it in my mouth and it's cheesy ... look out! If only I could get that in a bottle, like cheese whiz for baby. That'd make for a nice diaper.

-Fox out.
